Whether you are dealing with cats fighting, litter box problems, your cat biting you, scratching, excessive grooming, or another unwanted cat behavior, a behavior consultation is the way to go. You'll get a comprehensive assessment of your situation, an individualized behavior plan to address your cat's concerns, and a chance to ask any questions that you may have.
The process is individualized to your situation, but generally we first start by establishing why a behavior is occuring: Why is my cat biting? Why are my cats fighting? Why isn't my cat using the litter box? Figuring out the why allows us to target interventions specifically to address the problem rather than just guessing!
Having a cat with behavior problems is stressful enough as is so after we establish the underlying reasoning for the behavior, we'll work together to find a plan that works best with your needs while still making sure the behavior problem gets addressed. If difficult decisions need to be made, I'll be here to support you through that process as well!
Whether you're a first time cat parent, have a big life transition coming up, or are planning to adopt a second cat, Class Act Cats is here to help! Don't let more complex behavior problems develop with our preventative packages.
I strongly prefer people book multiple sessions. Why? I like to work with you over time to make sure we're really addressing the problem! It ultimately helps you and your cats to do multiple sessions rather than just one session.
Follow up sessions are 60 minutes and billed hourly at $115 per hour. However, because it is ultimately better for your cat, I offer a special hourly rate for folks who book multiple sessions at once! Follow up between sessions is included for people who book follow up sessions, too, so you get even more support!
Most of the time, virtual consultations are a great way to do an assessment. My prices are set based on virtual sessions. However, there may be reasons where it makes sense for me to come by your home for a consultation (or you may just prefer an in-home consultation!). This involves extra time and travel expenses so an additional fee of $30 will be charged to account for this. If you are outside my service area, an additional fee may be charged to account for the additional travel time and expense. Travel fees are due at booking and are non-refundable.
