Scheduling Your First Behavior Consultation

Read over everything and know what you’re getting into? You can schedule your first session and get started toward a well behaved cat. If you have aggression or fighting cats, you are required to book at least the initial session plus one follow up. See our reintroduction program for more information on how we handle these situations.

All first sessions are done virtually. Virtual behavior consultations are more effective than in home sessions so you get better results this way.

Estimated Total Costs

Costs are based on the number of sessions you need. You should go into this expecting to need at least one follow up session. More complex situations require more sessions and take longer so your total cost is proportionate to the amount of work we do for you.

  • Problems not involving tension between cats: $200 to $800
  • Problems involving aggression or tension between cats: $600 to $1500

These estimates include the first session. In cases where you have a more severe problem or want extra support, the final cost may be higher.

Zoomies Sessions

Zoomies sessions are short 30 minute virtual sessions for a single, minor problem or to over something quick like helping your cat get used to their carrier

  • Think annoying but not a dangerous problems.
  • Destructive scratching and counter surfing are great examples of what these sessions are appropriate for.
  • These sessions include 2 weeks of reasonable e-mail follow up.
  • If your cat is already fearful, a full consultation is a better choice

These sessions are NOT appropriate for:

  • House soiling/litter box problems, spraying
  • Fighting cats/conflict between cats/introducing cats
  • Aggression toward humans
  • Any situation where euthanasia is being considered
  • Multiple behavior concerns

If you aren’t sure if your situation is appropriate for a Zoomies session, ask before booking. Your session will be canceled if your behavior concern isn’t appropriate for a Zoomies session.
